Lovely additions those, what do we think the chances of a sell out are? I know last year they ended up basically giving away tickets. Doesn't feel like the lineup is considerably stronger this year

I think cheap tickets are very unlikely. Def bigger bands with King Gizzard/Slowdive/Young fathers this year. Might not sell out mind, but i think will be close

I'm not so sure, think they mentioned they were 60 percent sold in February so can't imagine it's a huge amount more now as the bulk of the big acts had been announced by then. Almost every year they try get rid of the remaining tickets and usually someone on here posts a cheap ticket link or discounted VIP upgrade so I'm hopeful of picking one up closer the date.

I've made a playlist for this, all the acts in (new) poster order, with songs selected being as far as poss those they've played most often at recent shows (ie like the big playlists I used to do for Glastonbury)

thanks for this mate will be much easier to check out some acts I don’t know than searching individually

are you still making the glasto playlists any more ? Have been really handy in the past. Went looking for one this year but couldn’t see one of yours at first glance

Speaking of which, 50 percent off tickets code on kaboodle with code 'Dazed50'

Many thanks Gnaster Womble, just snapped them up. Out of interest, how did you hear about the discount - was it via an email from Kaboodle? If so I'll have to get on their circulation list.

No worries!

I haven't done a Glasto one this year or last, after this place went sour and for various reasons I've not found the time. I've just been doing ones for this and End of the Road, much easier and better hit rate, and recently some collaborative Glasto ones on OOF.

Your best bet for Glasto this year is @northernringo's -

Dazed magazine gives subscribers 50 percent off Wide awake each year - Think it's usually £60 a year for the mag so worth doing if you have a group going.

I’m also cap in hand for a discount code if anyone has one. Trains from Manchester and a hotel on a BH weekend has decimated my bank account.

Looking forward to the full schedule being announced.

Just realised there is an app available for this available through woov . I followed the Facebook link through the festival website and it was there 3/4 posts down

they are yet to drop the full set times / stage splits but based on socials looks like it is coming very soon . They have been teasing it across last few days

thought worth mentioning in case anyone else going was unaware

Any idea when we might see some Set Times for this. Feels like they're waiting longer than previous years?

You may have seen this already , but stage splits were put up on insta a week or two back (2nd may). No set times granted , but can probably get a feel for some of acts that will/wont clash

The stage splits were useless as were in alphabetical

they only came out a few days before last year (22nd for 27th) so youre looking at the 20th so monday there or there abouts. Be nice if they come this friday.

Ah didn’t realise they were alphabetic I had presumed that was in set order with headliners last . You are indeed right , in which case my rudimentary plans are out the window until we get set times

I know the following main stage times from the access pack:

Act
Start Time
Grace Cummings
13:15
Crumb
14:45
Dry Cleaning
16:00
Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul
17:30
Young Fathers
19:00
King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard
21:00

To be fair I do need to read through the access pack properly, thanks for reminding me and posting these 🙂

Given that King Gizz is not really up against any other big acts, what do people reckon of the chance of finding a good spot in the crowd without waiting for a while?

Was wondering if it would be possible to dip halfway through Lynks but am pretty sure I would find myself trying to watch main stage from behind the trees..
