It was just a short set before a signing at Rough Trade. Mainly played new songs with a couple of older ones too. Was still a good gig, they are normally pretty good live.

Certainly I think if they were doing the early summer festivals at least, they'd have been announced by now.

But I guess we'll see going forward. You presume something is coming from them soon enough in any case.

I’ve seen not seen any pics or other proof of them actually in the studio recording and actual record

A lurk on Wolf Alice's Reddit sees some fans think they're likelier going to make their return in the second half of the year, so I guess we'll see on that front. Like you say, I'm yet to see any tangible "in the studio" photos. Nearest is Ellie's Instagram seemingly just living life, unless the studio stuff is conspicuously and intentionally absent.

Certainly I thought they might be announced by now if they were in any of the ones in Europe announced thus far. I certainly don't think they'll turn up at Reading given that was their last port of call here. Maybe if there was to be anywhere, an own show at APE given that I'd argue they're at least as big as Jungle, who did it last year?

They've also got Tyler and Doja Cat headlining, both of which would probably do MSW here too.

On the other hand, they're got Blur subbing, who would obvs so MSE here, and Liam Gallagher wouldn't headline Coachella either. It's not the same country.

I would be surprised if she’ll be earning less for playing Reading and Leeds too

Perfect except are the skinner brothers big enough for that slot on main stage. From what I’ve seen they just annoy ppl on TikTok
