That weather forecast thread (2022)

Forecast for Saturday & Sunday in particular is looking a bit grim now! And Monday morning for packing up the tent! ☹️

The forecasts for Green Man were woefully off. Most of them had bad rain at some point over the main festival and it barely rained at all.

On the Monday morning I was looking at the Met Office forecast for heavy rain at that time while packing our tent away in the dry.

Yr.no looks alright apart from Thursday. It'll be dry and warm I'm sure of it.

In fact the wforecast has already improved. Gone from 13mm rain to 1mm

Fingers crossed we will be ok . Every festival this summer has been lucky we need the luck now

Cant be right. YR have 8.1mm falling in an hour  on Friday morning. Someone missed a decimal place

In 2008 we had lots of rain on the Friday it got pretty muddy

Met Office forecast doesn't look too bad apart from a thunderstorm on Monday morning

I seem to remember 2012 being very muddy around the Tipi Tent/cider bus area after it rained a lot on the Friday.

At least with a bit of rain it should mean that the night time temperatures won't be too freezing.
