The Telegraph reporting they've spent four times their performance fee on the production alone, which seems like Coldplay-esque levels of commitment to the bit.

Or go massively up thier own ass with asthetics over music.  We will see in 48 hours..

Made a comment on the Neil Young thread about how he may lose casuals in the first half-hour if he doesn't have too many of his big hitters. It's why I imagine at least two of the band's proper smashes here rock up in the first five songs - Chocolate feels a very safe bet.

Should’ve read the thread before posting…

If you had told me when they were being rumoured to headline that they were going to be one of my most anticipated sets of the weekend, I absolutely wouldn’t have believed you. Very excited to see what they do and I hope they knock it out the park!

She's American feels rogue as a shout to me, but far from implausible.

Think the 2022 R+L sets - the very start of that At Their Very Best era - captured them near the peak of their festival-shaping powers. There's so little filler and nearly all killer in there.

    • Yeah, that was always a possibility.   We're obviously obsessed with Glastonbury and so assumptions are made when something like that is said. It's unlikely Madonna feels quite as strongly about the festival and so her being excited about something big in the UK next year (or however she phrased it) should really be taken as carrying a lot more possibilities.
    • MGK to headline anyone?
    • Fantastic news.  Not got our settlement car park pass yet, but this gives me hope that it will arrive soon
    • I think they mentioned it in one and interview that the concept of Passport is one thing that differentiates the Sziget from other festival and encourages to explore the site outside music stuff. I doubt they will get rid of it, they might just be late, like they are with everything else.
