I'm glad you took that as the half joke it was intended as... 🙂

I'm not some conspiracy theorist or covid denyer... Stayed in for the first half of 2020, wore my mask, had my vaccines, did my tests, looked out for those at risk... But it has really annoyed me the way the media have tried to drag it out, spreading fear for profits way longer than is necessary.

You only have to look at their initial response to Omicron, whilst every single South African professional (they were ahead of us remember?) Was declaring Omicron as a victory, the strain we needed to start putting things behind us, the UK media tried to spread fear again. Pushing and pushing for further action from the government. Thankfully Boris actually got something right for once, and stood his ground.

We have to learn to live with it now. It's never going away, ever...

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kate Bush made an appearance seeing as she’s back in the charts and touring again.

Kate Bush really doesn’t strike me as the kind of act to just up and start performing because she had a song in Stranger Things.

To look on the bright side - Glastonbury has TOO MUCH I want to see, so a few cancellations wouldn't be the worst thing ever.
Also, Junction 2 just got cancelled, so any acts who might've picked up covid there are now in the clear.

Genuinely curious to know how 'back-up' artists work though.  Aside from those already at the festival, Glastonbury always seems to be able to have someone to step up if any big names cancel.  Any have idea how this works?  Presumably bands aren't told to be on stand-by!

I was intrigued to see if she was still performing and she has gigs at either side of the festival.

I assume most bands won't be testing anyway. They'll be some cancellations but hopefully not many and they'll be bands around to step up as replacements

They have to because diff countries have diff requirements. you just act like everyones testing and leave it be. Look how many cancellations primavera had due to covid, its gonna hit glasto. And you cant risk exposing crew and staff at the fest just to play the damn gig.

I managed to get it at Primavera last week. Got home Sunday night, woke up Monday morning with a sore throat but thought it was probably due to vaping a lot (something I do t do too often). Took a test just to be safe and it came up. Felt drained and jumped between feeling hot and cold a lot but felt fine again by Wednesday. The mad thing is my missus obviously lives in close quarters, has been here all week rather than go in to the office, yet she hasn't managed to catch it off me. I'm still testing positive today but feel absolutely fine.

Glad I've got it out the way ahead of Glasto, but most of my group going are going to be laying low from the next week onwards just to be safe.

There are artists who have gaps in their schedule ( see GSH) and are ready just in case pretty much. Like the Charlatans filled in for Snow Patrol in 2019 when they had to cancel 2 days prior to their appearance. Thats not by just sheer luck. Im sure they have artists ready to go this time because they werent going to pull the trigger on a replacement for Doja Cat since Sam Fender just moved slots. So we should make a list of acts that have gaps during the weekend and who have gigs so you know theyre not just sitting on the couch waiting for the call.

It's not the artist cancelling that I'm worried about (although that would be shit) it's me and people in my party!!

Going to steer clear of this thread (hopefully). Better for my sanity

The thread that scared even the weather gods!

So let’s say you start feeling unwell next Sunday / Monday and have a hunch it might be covid, do you:

A) test

B) not bother

I won't be testing before... If I feel too ill to function I won't go, if I feel better I'll head down late... If I feel too ill after arriving I'll spend the day in the tent, see how I feel the next day, if I don't improve I'll go home.

I will however take some masks, just in case I get some very mild symptoms whilst there and begin to worry about having and spreading it.

Had something horrendous last week, started with a sore throat, turned into headaches and cold like symptoms (still clearing my sinuses now.) Didn't test, but don't think it was Covid, as it felt much much worse than when I did test positive in January 2021.

Assessment 2 of this course typically requires students to identify take my online nursing class a specific patient safety issue, analyze its causes and impacts, and develop an evidence-based plan to address it. This assessment challenges students to apply their knowledge of nursing theory and quality improvement principles to real-world clinical problems, fostering their development as competent and reflective practitioners. The first step in NURS FPX 4030 Assessment 2 involves selecting a relevant patient safety issue. This issue should be one that significantly impacts patient outcomes and is pertinent to the student’s clinical setting. Common examples include medication errors, hospital-acquired take my online nursing class for me infections, falls, and surgical complications. Identifying a significant issue is crucial as it sets the direction for the entire project, focusing efforts on areas that can substantially enhance patient safety and quality care. Once the issue is identified, the next step is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of its causes and impacts. This involves  nurs fpx 4030 assessment 2 reviewing current practices, examining patient outcomes, and analyzing data to understand the extent of the problem. For instance, if the chosen issue is medication errors, students would review incident reports, analyze error patterns, and investigate contributing factors such as workflow inefficiencies, lack of staff training, or communication breakdowns. This thorough analysis helps to uncover root causes and identify areas for intervention. After understanding the problem, students must develop an evidence-based plan to address the patient safety issue. This plan should include specific, actionable steps grounded in current research and best practices. For example, to reduce bio fpx 1000 assessment 7 medication errors, the plan might involve implementing electronic medication administration records (eMAR), conducting regular staff training sessions on medication safety, and establishing a double-check system for high-risk medications. Each intervention should be justified with evidence from the literature, demonstrating its potential effectiveness in improving patient safety. Effective communication and teamwork are essential components of the implementation plan. Students must outline strategies for engaging healthcare team members, including nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and support staff, in the initiative. Regular team meetings, clear communication nurs fpx 4050 assessment 1 channels, and collaborative decision-making processes are crucial for ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and committed to the plan. Creating a culture of safety, where team members feel empowered to speak up about concerns and contribute ideas, is vital for the success of the initiative.
    • Enhancing Healthcare Quality Through Interdisciplinary Collaboration NURS FPX 4060 is a vital course in the nursing curriculum at Capella University, focusing on principles of interdisciplinary collaboration to improve healthcare quality and patient outcomes. Assessment 4 of this course typically requires take my online class students to design and implement a comprehensive plan that addresses a specific healthcare issue through collaborative efforts among various healthcare professionals. This assessment emphasizes the importance of teamwork, communication, and evidence-based practice in achieving optimal healthcare results. The first step in NURS FPX 4060 Assessment 4 involves identifying a significant healthcare issue that necessitates interdisciplinary intervention. This issue should be relevant to the student’s clinical setting and have a direct impact on patient care. Common topics might include reducing hospital readmissions, improving chronic disease management, or enhancing patient safety protocols. Identifying a pressing issue is crucial, as it provides a clear focus for the take my online class for me collaborative efforts and sets the stage for meaningful improvements. After selecting a healthcare issue, students must conduct a thorough analysis to understand the underlying causes and contributing factors. This analysis involves reviewing current practices, patient outcomes, and existing nhs fpx 6004 assessment 2 literature to gather evidence on effective interventions. For instance, if the issue is high readmission rates for heart failure patients, students would examine factors such as medication adherence, patient education, and follow-up care. This comprehensive analysis helps identify gaps in current practices and opportunities for improvement. The next step is to develop a detailed plan for addressing the identified issue through interdisciplinary collaboration. This plan should outline specific interventions, roles and responsibilities of team members, and a timeline for implementation. For example, a plan to reduce readmission rates might involve creating a nurs fpx 4060 assessment 4 multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and social workers. Each team member would have distinct responsibilities, such as providing patient education, ensuring medication reconciliation, and coordinating follow-up appointments. Clear delineation of roles ensures that all aspects of patient care are addressed comprehensively. Effective communication strategies are essential for successful interdisciplinary collaboration. Students must establish regular communication channels, such as team meetings, electronic health record (EHR) notes, and progress reports, to ensure that all pay someone to take my online course team members are informed and engaged. These strategies facilitate the sharing of information, tracking of progress, and timely addressing of any issues that arise during implementation. Communication tools like secure messaging apps and collaborative platforms can enhance real-time information sharing and coordination.
