Bieber already has a gig planned in Budapest in 2023.. do you guys really believe he'll be there twice in such a short time...? I have to say I don't

Quite a few things point to him being there, sadly, and a few don't:

For:

- His tour dates line up perfectly for him to be there

- As much as it pains me to say, he would be a draw

- He has never played in Hungary, as per Leaks' hint

- The 'love yourself' graphic looks pretty clear

Against:

- He has never played Hungary in his near 15 years career - and now he's playing twice in seven months?

- He is unbearable (just my opinion)

So, more for than against, although the against is a strong one. If I was the promoter for his March 2023 gig I'd be going ballistic if he is announced for Sziget '22.

Leaks said the act has not played Budapest before. The pictures could just be just 1 act. I am not that great at puzzles so goodness knows.

Leaks normally only jumps in about a week before so hopefully someone figures it out.

That rules out a few acts mentioned.

Why are The Who being mentioned?

I mentioned they did a song on Quadrophenia called Sea and Sand, which matches the first image Leaks posted. Plus, they're back on the road again this year. No other reason and highly unlikely I would guess but its nice to dream.

Waves- robin schulz(edm)

Love yourself- Justin bieber (pop/maybe counts as an rnb act)

Elephants- tame impala

this makes the most sense to me

what do you guys think?

I thought the same for Robin Schulz lol, but I'm not objective 'cause i'd LOVE him to be here ^^ plus, Waves isn"t HIS hit at the beginning... but yeah, I want to believe... ^^

Oh right, there schedule certainly does not link them to tour this summer. What with Roger Daltrey Dates in the summer, rather than The Who.

So to summarise ….

Possible names:

- Waves - Robin Schulz

- Justin Bieber (love yourself , cold water)

- The Who

- Elephant - Tame Impala

-  cold water - Major Lazer

( waves is also a pop song by Dean Lewis. But he is definitely not a headliner. )

I also thought about Frank Ocean as the waves could refer to the ocean. But I am not sure if he is around and touring.

I thought about Frank Ocean too. He's scheduled to headline Coachella in 2023 so could, very possibly, begin his run-up to that this summer. Not sure how big he is though. I mean, he's big enough to headline Coachella, but I'm not sure I could name more than two of his songs!

Plus, the other two (Bieber/Impala) if correct, are clues to songs rather than the act themselves.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
