I get the same, enter the tickets and then cant enter code to confirm im not a bloody robot! Rubbish!

Yeah that link takes you direct to page but your bar in waiting room has to have gone down and put your code in to access it properly.

I've been twice and nobody has asked to see any ID.

Better to have it and not need it though...

Surely I would be ok with Passport photo on my phone? 

I am in the office and going home to get my passport would mean a 90 minute round trip to wembley as opposed to 30 mins direct from office.

You dont need ID only the text result of the covid test on phone.
