Next Announcement Predictions

Couldn’t find a thread discussing explicitly the next announcement. Thought people could guess a date, and we’ll see who gets closest?

I’m going 1st March.

As for the content, I think we’ll get a ‘R&L is going ahead’ with a ‘the next names will be added to the lineup on...’

I’m optimistic! But I appreciate your scepticism!

Completely forgot about the March 1st thing on Twitter, I’m still going March 1st for a ‘it’s happening, we’ll release new names on...’

With regards to what those names will be I’m not sure, but I think we’ll probably find out plans for different stages (and whether the Radio 1 tent will bescrapped of not) when the next names are announced.

Is there any chance we get a lineup announcement tomorrow as Tom Grennan has said he has an announcement tomorrow and already self confirmed as others have mentioned.

Yeah I saw that too. Wouldn't make sense for him to announce randl without them announcing him too, that would seem a bit mismanaged tbh

I will get dragged there...

Don’t have to get dragged mate. 2019 I literally saw Frank Carter, Foos, Royal Blood, 75, Blossoms, TOP and Posty. 6 acts in the three music days. Mates wanted me to see others but I couldn’t be bothered so didn’t. Don’t let yourself go against your morals seeing The Hunna. Imagine a Hunna gig on your record? Not a good look is it.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
