That's the thin edge of the wedge. Next it will be giving Gibraltar back  then the Falklands and before you know it you have a United Ireland

Maybe it's time to complete the process of decolonisation too?

Plus the falklands were founded in 1765. The spanish didn't found their colony in S.America till 1776. Its going to be tricky shipping millions of people back around the world to where their ancestors came from.

Jenny Harries not coming out of this covid inquiry too well. Some bad decisions were made by her...early lockdowns, care homes etc.

Not heard of her before. I’m guessing she’s the government appointed scapegoat for the care homes mistakes.

She was a regular on that daily briefing sh*t-show at the lecterns with Witty and Van Tam.

At the start of covid, she was Witty's deputy.

Kissinger is dead.

Rolling Stone pulling no punches…

The infamy of Nixon's foreign-policy architect sits, eternally, beside that of history's worst mass murderers. A deeper shame attaches to the country that celebrates him

It gets worse. Today really is a tough day for famous deaths.

It's ok though, for folks that were into her show, her daughter is carrying on the family business of shooting balls from her vag.

    • I've been told beer will be cheaper until 6pm. Anyone can confirm?   Not like i'll drink more than 1-2 in 38 C degrees.
    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
