Now there a is a drive through in Rawtenstall and it’s not the same.

Totally agree.  I like saying to my nephews “back in my day we didn’t have a McDonald’s here”. I’m basically a year away from being the old man in the werthers original advert

I wouldn't touch them, as I know people who have worked in the factory. Do you know anyone who has worked there? @Wellyboot

No, I drive past it a lot tho. I love the cheese and onion pies, not bothered for any of the others they do. If I was getting a different pie it would be a Clayton Park Butter pie 😍😍

I remember when one opened in Rochdale and we made the pilgrimage over t'moors to get a hamburger and throw away a root beer.

We always used to head to the one in Accrington on the 464. Man I could murder a fillet-o-fish 😉

Today am going greggs for dinner 🤩 now that is something we need... a drive thru greggs. When accy gets one of them THEN we're winning!!

The custard caramel doughnuts from Greggs are probably the best doughnuts in the world.

No, the one in the town centre.  We're talking mid/early eighties and I was very small.

That is old school. That store has shut now like the one in Accrington town centre (the non drive through one) my wife used to be the manager of it.

Greggs doughnuts are underrated, and the sugar kick to price ratio is far more favourable than krispy kreme

Controversial thread is over there.

Seriously, I've not seen this much shite spouted on here since chat about California turning red. KKs are far superior to Gregg's. The Nutty Chocolata isn't a doughnut, it's art.

Fuckin ell ... where’s these draw results ? 😡

Person doing the draw probably on leave this week. Or forgot to put a reminder in their diary. It will be one thing on a massive to do list. Probably have to wait until next week

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
