I suspect you'll be able to pick that up online at 6.  Though you're maybe better off saving some shekels and picking up a copy from Discogs or a charity shop.

Just did that very thing. Given it's my only purchase today I'm comfortable with it, shekel-wise.

Being charitable, the second drop of releases seems a bit thinner than the first.

Yeah, about 50, compared to 300+ on the first drop. October's is even smaller I think.

I couldn't resist getting The Ramones, despite already owning about 4 live albums & them all sounding basically the same! Still sounds fucking great though! 🙂

D'oh only noticed this and there's a few I would have bought! Probably for the best. My vinyl spend in lockdown has been through the roof!

Not sure if this is the best thread but Banquet Records are doing personalised signed copies of Shame's new record for this weekend only.

Thanks for this, my Girlfriends due to finish her PhD in February so going to get a personalised message from her current favourite band for when she passes 🙂

Don't suppose you know if any other stores do something like this? Noticed that Maximo Park and You Me At Six are doing the same offer on Banquet but cant see it on any other stores.

Brilliant, I'm sure she will love it. Remember, they are closing the orders for it at some point before tomorrow.

I've seen Banquet do it a few times but with their gigs etc., they're quite a 'big' indie store.

Longwell Records did something along those lines with a couple of releases last year if memory serves me correctly.

Recordstore.co.uk do a lot of signed copies but not personalised.

    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
