It's a lifeline in the dark innit?

It really, really is. Merry Christmas to you and your family x

Well the Christmas dinner for one was a great success except that I'm now left with a pile of washing up and nobody to help (and no, I don't have a dishwasher) plus enough left overs to last a week. I now just need to stay sober enough to carry off the family zoom call in 2 hours.

So glad it was a success 😊 soz about the washing up tho! Merry Christmas love x

Was great to be able to check in with the gang on Christmas evening. And I'm very glad you talked me out of opening that second bottle of Cava!

Did you watch Discovery?

I did. Strong Heechee vibes.

I slept in so haven’t had chance to watch it, I’ll do that tomorrow I think.

Just a small bit of napping 😴 ... nothing out the ordinary ... although hopefully you now know who @vintagelaureate is after meeting him for the 3rd time 🙂

    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
    • I mean...I do think it all needs more regulation, but god knows how when it's all so global...but there's so much stuff on there that is messing with our little minds. But also, he has given these companies till September, and well...he'll surely be gone by then. I think social media ban for under 16s will likely happen, but I think regulating it for everyone is better. It's the not the kids we should be worried about, it's all those middle aged doom scrolling keyboard warriors like me.
    • I agree the prices are tough for locals. You can see if Porto timetable is the type that works for you and it's a terrific city. Also cheaper. https://www.primaverasound.com/es/porto/lineup-porto
    • thanks XXialac! i guess for us the most important aspect will be a festival that starts very late in the day, specially in these southern countries were it can be really hot! The combination of visiting a new city, having good lunches and enjoying a festival is a absolute must for us. Also, we like headliners but the undercard is just as important; truly enjoyed Men I trust, NewDad, Big Thief this year so from that angle it is not really a big thing if a festival is somewhat smaller.    Apparently my bad, i had 5 in my system but 0.5 (10%) increase is still huge. I am not sure how teenagers can afford these prices............
