Possibly but I do think they should have made it an option to give these businesses a chance to make back some of the money and it would be safer.

lockdown fatigue ?.... people seeing more closely the effects of it ? you can see that from the last lockdown in terms of what people were doing ...  but we have still managed to get drops in the rates which is of course a positive .... even with support dropping away ... maybe there will be enough support for 1 more ?

Looks like the tiered restriction analysis provided by the govt to the rebel MPs does not provide any answers on economic impact, but does provide on health impact. So, those MPs have to decide what to do tomorrow. They know labour are going to vote for it, so can probably vote against safe in the knowledge that will pass...but, still not good govt to be relying on opposition votes when they supposedly have a big majority...

The thing is, pretty much all countries (unless I'm wrong) now require a test for you to enter. See, even at this price, I'm not laying out £150 for two tests in order to go on a cheap winter sun break for a week.
