In fairness, apart from ex boy/girl friends or partners etc screwing them over after deposit, I don't think I've heard or seen of one Glastonbury fraud or getting fkd over when it comes to deposits or resale. Never on eFestivals anyway (or GlastoChat for that matter). Seems like Neil keeps a mostly good ship, and nice one @crazyfool1 you seem a good guy with content to match. Better than the shite I spew anyway

Wow, 10,000 posts is impressive!

I'm another looking for help, both in coach and the main sale :) Details on the spreadsheet already and happy to get in contact with potential helpers beforehand to build up a level of trust.

All in 10 years work :) .... I would hope you get some offers after the very detailed posts on the corona virus thread ... cheers for those

Thank you :) we all get distracted at times ... and believe me amongst the 10,000 there’s some shite :) missing out this year has hardened my determination to meet as many as possible at the efest meet as possible

No problem!

In the days leading up to resale day I'll add a little note at the bottom of the posts to remind people about those of us on the spreadsheet :)

I must admit, I was 19 when I went to Glastonbury for the first time, used to think the meet was lame and for saddos (sorry @eFestivals ) now 27, I am determined to make the meet this year, sacked it off last year but would like to meet a fair few of you... got to grab a beer with @Hugh Jass and see the man behind the mask of @Matt42 . Will see you there anyhow crazyfool1, you've got too much help on your side

that's if this post-teen lates twenties going slightly grey Brummie is allowed now Neil 😄😛

Ah, resale spreadsheet wise we are, but we want help from beyond our own desperate selves. We require the great and good of Efests and beyond. If someone else manages to sort me out, then I'm free quicker to get on the case of spreadsheeters. Hopefully it would mean I'm free and clear to start instantly on your case Sunday am. Fear not, my dear @BlueDaze, you still mine.

Ha..! I get it..

As we get closer to resale date this is going to be like the rush for lifeboats on the Titanic.... The band will still be playing on Sunday morning as i am standing on the bow rail shivering..... *

* apologies if anyone on here had relatives that actually were on the Titanic...

I won’t be making the meet this year as I’m not coming till Thursday. But I would happily buy you, and @Matt42 a drink if our paths cross.

I'll drop you a PM or Whatsapp for MC closer the time, and Matt is more than welcome to join us of course, and there's a round from me as well. You driving across from the big shmoke?

So we are just 4 5 days from the coach sale and 48 days from the main sale , with many of you looking forward to an announcement very soon ..... but we have a large number of people that are in a bit of limbo land .... so I thought id do something useful for my 10,000th post on the forum .... we have had many offers of help and messages of support and we are all truly grateful for those but id just like to ask if there are any members of the forum who would like to help some fellow efest members get to the farm ? we have just over 100 people to get there ... anyway post below or pm anyone you have formed a bond with over the months .... Thanks very much

Alex

Congrats on the 10k posts, I am already helping the kids in the reales but if I'm lucky I shall assist by going via the spreadheet.

Probably going to National Express it. Most of my mates are going Wednesday but I’m going Thursday due to childcare concerns.

I've done it in the past for others. In fact I have an uncanny knack of getting resale tickets for others. I'm really hoping I have the same success rate for myself!!

I've usually got them for people I don't know and you know what you do get that warm fuzzy glow from knowing you've done a good thing.

Only thing I can think of was last year or the year before when someone posted a day or two before the festival claiming to be running a Turtle Juice stall at glastonbury and desperately needing staff to work on it- think they wanted people to send a scan of their photo ID and pay a deposit for their ticket that they 'would get back after the shifts'. Think the thread got deleted as soon as Neil saw it- not sure if anyone got conned?

I'm an incomer moved here coming up to 4 years ago now and I seriously hope that I'll be making that stop at Gloucester services on the way down in June.
