If anyone is interested in joining up on the spreadsheet can you email your details to:

[email protected]

Primarily, you need to send your reg numbers, post code, surname and your efests name (if you have multiple in your group let me know).

Also let me know if you're happy to join another group to make it up to a 4. Just remember that you pay the whole cost up front in the resale.

Once I've got the initial interest down, I'll share the spreadsheet so people can add contact details etc.

Thanks.

Nice one @vintagelaureate thanks for doing this ... i appreciate the time it might take and that people will ensure you and your groups are sorted come resale time .... we can do this guys .... 2 groups of 2 might ensure we also get more efesters to the farm ... any help you know where I am :) .... and thanks @StoneCircle for help

oh yes ... i was going to put those on there for sure .... cant do any harm and I do know people who have had replies before thanks

I really hope you get a good response.  Offering to do something in return for the ticket is key. Good Luck!

yep ... I will be using my hat to promote the love the farm message ... any photos that  appear on individuals social media and will spread the message much further than the festival audience

The essential ingredient in any group set up is that if yours is successful, you immediately start trying for the next group in line. In our collective, there is zero tolerance for anyone found not to be doing that, and it's a core requirement of membership.

Hola nihao lovelies, absolutely heartbroken to be ticketless for 2020. Admittedly been a little absent from efestivals lately but it's oddly comforting to see so many people sharing the same sentiment and determined to get there no matter what. I'd really appreciate joining the resale club for the year and of course will help out in return wherever possible. There's 4 of us but it's possible that it will drop to 2 closer to the time...

There's no way we're missing the best party in the world, and even less so Diana Ross on Sunday!

Get yr index fingers ready lads!!

Unfortunately, if I do go, I think I’ll be going alone. Was planning to go with my so but he’s worried that glasto is becoming more and more mainstream esp in view of the rapid sell out of tickets. Has anyone been alone before? Not sure if it’d be much fun really.

small groups much better .. you can do your own thing .... if you find it difficult sparking conversations ... wear something a bit different .. it breaks the ice ... trust me :)

@eFestivals  is there any way of pinning this at the top of pages on this thread ? or will we have to just direct to page 17 ?

You can't edit titles can you? I will be emailing though! So how does this all work? Cheers @vintagelaureate, sterling work.

The first thing I'm doing is pulling the first lots of names sent to me together, forming some groups of efesters who can move into fours to double up, I'll share the document in a couple of days when it's populated a bit.

Then people can add extra information on, such as contact details etc. Then as we get closer to April we can sort out methods of payment etc.

The way I'd see it working is you'd find the group you were in and move down the list accordingly. Hopefully all those who are already successful will join and move through the list too.

Hopefully we can get a fair chunk off the list!

Obviously, it's predominantly for efest users but I'm trying to be as inclusive as possible.

Sounds good and I guess really fair if you get the group directly below you!

We can sort out the exact methods behind when the spreadsheet is up and going a bit. Just an idea. I can't see anyone getting through more than a couple of times in reality though.

    • I still think they might take another shot at the normal weekend.    I'm also pretty sure this exact same speculation was happening after the last one.
    • Meanwhile in Chicago. Rained overnight at Lolla. Now they pushed back opening til the afternoon. But thunderstorms and lightning forecast. Maybe if the city invested in proper drainage they couldve tried to salvage the day.
    • Wasn't just me who thought it was either oversold or inadequately setup for the event then? For Pride, over the weekend, where there's also acts in the large blue marquee that was to the right of the "arena" (for want of a better term), it's probably much better as people are dispersed more. Thought the band were great, as was Nick, though he was clearly struggling with his voice at times.
    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
