Speedwell Street is in the heart of rehab (not) city ... I love Waterstones... haven't been to Christ Church College for years

I'm currently sitting looking out of my window at a group of about 15 people all enjoying their morning Lambrini that that've robbed from Tescos on the corner. Lovely!

Ha ha ..it doesn't change does it ??? Not sure why tourists want to visit but I suppose  the positives outweigh the negatives...   I think because we have places like Lucy Faithful House and Simon Hostel it's a big draw from surrounding areas ... I'm back on Sunday but thankfully don't have to go to the city to do so ...now where's my gold label and white lightening

Haha, and what's your story on why you're not allowed to bring schnapps?

It's not terribly exciting! basically involved me knocking back the best part of a bottle before/during arcade fire (back in 2007, the muddy year) then losing an hour or so and coming to again during Bjork, but I was all over the place. Somehow my friends got me back to the tent where I slept for about 15 hours!

Never touched the stuff since then

It's always dangerous when stuff is too tasty for the alcohol content. I remember many moons ago drinking that Bacardi twist stuff at my then boyfriends 18th bday like it was hooch. That didn't end well either...ooops

can't do the MD anymore as the anti-depressants render it useless. this year i've a selection of craft beer cans, 2 bottles of strawberry wine for the day. vodka & rum infusions for the evening. beta-blockers for the anxiety wobbles, milk thistle for the hangover

these days its just beer / cider and the odd wine bar sangria for me.

i don't actually dink alcohol anymore, not for 3 years now - Glastonbury is the only time that i do actually have a drink.

back in the day i used to put all kinds of stuff down my neck - whatever the fellas on muddy lane were selling i was buying.

don't get me wrong - they were great days, but they are a long way in the past now.

They sell Sangria at The Wine Bars? Amazing!
