Searched but couldn't find a thread for them. So who's excited about these guys? Saw them on the Pyramid on the Sunday 2 years ago as the sun was going down and it was just the perfect set to bring on the final night. Can't wait to see them again, hopefully in a headliner spot on The Other Stage.

What does everyone think of the two new singles? I'm really liking them, especially 'In Cold Blood'.

Big fan of them.. 'An Awesome Wave' is an absolute belter, though not as much a fan of 'This Is All Yours'.

Saw them in '15 too but wasn't blown away by them.. might have just been the fact they were just after Lionel's fantastic performance.

Still looking forward to hearing the new material live.

I think I was in a very good mood after Lionel and it just continued on into the alt-J set.

I agree that An Awesome Wave is the stronger of the two albums but This Is All Yours has some great tracks on it too. I tend to always listen to either of their albums from start to finish, never just the one song. I enjoy it more as an overall.

One of my favourite bands (profile pic might give that away....) really keen to see them again but think will mean missing the Foos as can see them headlining Other on Saturday.  In cold blood is a great track, and I think 3WW is a grower.  Favourite track has to be Nara though, just an epic tune!

Yeah I'm having the same dilemma. Was pretty keen to see the Foos but alt-J will win if they're up against each other. My favourite track has changed over time but right now it's got to be Taro. So beautiful.

Not sure where they will be placed though.. hmmm

I believe we've had info that puts them as the Other Stage headliner on the Saturday.

Never been a fan but really liked that 3WW song. Nice change for them. Not so much of a fan of In Cold Blood though - find that kind of goofy.

Saw them at Latitude as headliners in '15. Put on a great show. Wasn't so keen on the new song "3WW" well apart from the reference to Hornsea but their latest new track "In Cold blood" sounds great. Hoping sat night Other Stage headliners.

Cant wait to see them, being wanting to see them for a couple of years now. They are very very different to any other band out there, unique and some brilliant tracks. Their first album is still the best, but their last one was decent too. Excited for the 3rd, first couple of tracks are great.

These and foo fighters are probably the only 2 acts im excited about from the poster drop... its a bit meh over all. Although I love the courteeners so suppose thats a little bonus.

Love 3WW.  In Cold Blood is a bit 'more of the same' but still good.

I saw them on the Other Stage in 2013 and really enjoyed it.  Didn't bother with their Pyramid set but heard good things.  Not sure if I'd watch them headline the Other this year - will need to see who is on the other stages.  At the moment, I'm thinking it'll be The Jacksons/Solange for me.

Sorry to be a downer but on the Line-up/Rumours page that's were they are down to play

Yeah I noticed. I wouldnt trust them stage splits though. Other than the headliners. Craig David on the pyramid is a question mark as well, would have thought more likely to headline a tent with the type of show he has and is a big name.

Nah all the positions on there are there due to good info. Craig David is a Pyramid act for sure - sticking him in a tent (again) would be silly as he'll have a ginormous crowd.

Seen them 3 times now. First time I saw them was up there with the best live performance I've seen. Really hope they're headlining Other!

Love them! Very unique imho some cracking tunes. I will be absolutely fucking gutted if they headline the other stage on the saturday though... 2 acts I want to see most both on same time... would be typical!

Please put Katy Perry headliner! nice contrast of rock and pop and she is fucking massive world wide cant see her not headlining a stage surely?

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
