Yeah that's bollocks. One of the best singers ever, could easily headline.

His set-list could be a bit of a hits-list:

  1. Like a Rolling Stone
  2. The Times They Are A-Changing
  3. Blowin in the Wind
  4. Mr Tambourine Man
  5. A Fool Such As I
  6. Knocking On Heaven's Door
  7. Tangled Up in Blue
  8. Lay Lady Lay
  9. Beyond Here Lies Nothing
  10. Subterannean Homesick Blues
  11. It Ain't Me Babe
  12. All Along the Watchtower
  13. Just Like a Woman

Encore

  1. Make You Feel My Love
  2. One of Us Must Know
  3. Desolation Row

He doesn't play any of his songs properly, though.

He fuckin wrote them, he gets to decide whether he's playing them properly not you.

Okay? The point being he won't be booked to headline or play the legends slot because despite having a load of well-known tunes he plays them in a way that most people won't even recognise them.

Love that song. And that album. Best psb release for a long time.

God, i wish they’d play the festival again. 2010 my favourite Glastonbury ever and their set one of the absolute highlights

Fuck yes to all three of those last points. They smashed it. My other half is well sceptical that they are anything more than a poppy novelty act, I need them to play to prove their genius (and for me to enjoy).

Erasure would be alright, sure, but they’ve got what, 5, 6 bangers? Pet Shop Boys have got at least 20. Without breaking sweat.

More bangers than a schoolkid on a French exchange trip in the 80s.

Erasure would be biblical. Hallowed Ground on the Pyramid would satisfy me for life.

I have never seen them. Loved them all my life but circumstances have gone against me seeing them live.

They are amazing and I would be up for Erasure as well.

Seen PSB about half a dozen times, maybe more, but that 2010 show was absolutely one of the highlights. Only thing that has pipped it for me was seeing them in Red Square singing ‘Go West’. Proper moment, that.

Not seen Erasure since about 88/89. Around the time of ‘The Innocents’. Would be there for them at the farm, for sure.

Their Wild tour was epic.

Don't toy with me though, I'd convinced myself they would be there in 2017 and I'm not sure I can go through that again. Erasure has to be the third band I've seen three times.

    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
