if those are the headliners, they are meh, but the smaller bands are very good.

I'd agree. I've seen Mac DeMarco at green man a few years ago and I disliked the set greatly. I watched Band of Horses Glasto set from last year I think it was and they sound so poor live. The smaller band I'd agree are pretty interesting.

I think it's a much more impressive first announcement than usual. Have been hoping for Band of Horses for years. They just tweeted that FJM and Mac DeMarco are headliners. Great to see superb African bands like Amadou & Mariam and Vaudou Game on the card. Sinkane also a bit different for EOTR and should be good. Lower order indie bands showing promise... Girl Ray, Mega Bog, Let's Eat Grandma. It's already looking like a good event. Now bring The Flaming Lips back and make it a great one!

Been absolutely loving that Vaudou Game album over the past few days, so well looking forward to that. And Jens Lekman put on one of my favourite ever performances when he last played, so chuffed to have him.

I am utterly thrilled with this line-up. And they can announce Nick Cave after he sells out his European tour later this week!

    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
    • Naah, she plays 4 dates in Barcelona in early May
