It is all looking pretty tidy!

Just arrived home from a quick mission to The Farm. Couldn't believe how tidy it is all looking. The vast majority of the clean up crew have gone home and they are now down to a handful of actual pickers (doing the 'fine pick' who are all rather dusty and tanned. Just about everything has been removed, younger daughter there till Friday shifting the last of the wood which will all get chipped.

Had a quick drive around and it is actually amazing to see now what a small percentage of the grass was actually trashed.

Top job, well done to all concerned.

Thanks Sawdusty for all your efforts and to all of the other crew who work long after all the moaners have gone back to their normal lives, expecting everything to be laid on for them, there is so much work put in by volunteers and by people being paid very little which keeps the festival going, some of us appreciate it and know that the festival is built by and run by people like you, Thanks Again.

great stuff ...i take it there crew caravans ??? its amazing AND GOOD how it all goes back to how it should be ...take care old son

They are abandoned caravans... at so high a level of disrepair that even tent dwelling crew don't want to take them on.

Not a bad result, from that huge temporary city, only four caravans are ,so far, for the scrap heap.

You should have seen the camping chair scrap pile a couple of weeks ago, will try to find a pic.

Abandoned by General public or crew? I guess 4 out of the many on site isn't too bad considering the tents but still unacceptable unless they were unable to be towed. I'll bet the chair pile was heartbreaking though...

Big big kudos to all concerned.  Don't live anywhere near the farm but will be down that way to see friends at some point, would love to see it outside of the festival period.

Well worth it, we went last easter and walked the farm on easter Sunday, eating easter eggs sitting ion the pyramid .... It's beautiful and amzing and well worth the trip

We're in Pilton next weekend. Hopefully some of the site will be wanderable? Would be great to see the transformation first hand, probably too easy to underestimate the hard work and effort involved in making the place look like a working farm again. Thanks for the pictures, site looking great on that Pyramid shot.

Here, pic taken lunchtime 30th June so many more chairs were still out there. 2 full containers in background and another trailer full being tipped.
