Really hope they play Birch Tree, the set list they played at Leeds earlier this year would be perfect at G

Edit: and balloons aswel, they seem to be missing these 2 out of their recent set lists! I'd be gutted if they didnt play them

Snake Oil
Olympic Airways
My Number
Providence
Spanish Sahara
Red Sock Pugie
Late Night
A Knife In the Ocean
Mountain at My Gates
Inhaler
What Went Down
Two Steps Twice

this is what they've been playing at the couple of festivals they've played lately so fairly sure it's almost exactly what we'll get (perhaps minus Late Night depending on how long this set is, as they left it out at one of em). obviously would prefer more from TLF but for some reason that just isn't happening. gonna be a great set. those final three songs are gonna have the crowd going mental. i absolutely can't wait to see Two Steps Twice on the Pyramid

I only really know Spanish Sahara from Life is Strange - any suggestions on where to start?

that setlist i posted above is almost definitely what they'll end up playing or at least something very similar, so i'd make a playlist of those if you can

That will be fine by me as great cross section, I'm so excited for the Friday ZZ top > Foals > Muse :D

They're doing 75 mins which, if you remove the encore, I don't think would be that much less than the arena shows and probably more than most festival shows they've done. Would love it if we got Balloons but there's already likely to be a few from Antidotes so that's fine.

For me, and many others I assume, they're the closest thing to a Pyramid headliner that I'll be seeing this year. Still sticks in my craw a bit that they didn't get the call for the top job but they're gonna be seen by plenty more people in this time slot (and if @Fishman's Clashfinder research is correct, the biggest crowd of the weekend!) so fair play and they'll probably nail it and steal some limelight from the headliners while they're at it too.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
