Is there a loose pattern to these announcements? If so, the exact opposite of the pattern.

Midnight tonight?

Loose pattern is: every few days...

Edit: what's that opposite of that?  I've no idea

Argh it says London Underground is now being run by Rinse. There's normally a decent underground D&B line up in there on the Friday night, would be a shame (for me) if it became slightly more crossover with the likes of Shy FX. Don't get me wrong he's still decent enough, but I liked that more niche and deeper sounds were represented in there before by the likes of Calibre, Marcus Intalex, dBridge etc.

Yeah it would a shame if they lost that side of things, but still some good stuff in there as well. The Bug in there will be great fun.

I expect there will be more names on the actual poster (if we get one) which could give us more names like the ones you've said above.

And yet, that holds no interest for me. I love Hot Chip. I like Prince. I would never dance to Prince. 'We' did. In the '80's. It wasn't pretty, trust me...!

Ben

I dance to Prince all the time and trust me, it's beautiful.

I'm only glad that there is space in the world, and at Glastonbury, for all of us, Bradders!

Now, MIDLAND dropping some house-techno genius in NYC Downlow, and you had me at MIDL...

:)

Probably the best year yet for Block 9 field, Honey Soundsystem, The Black Madonna, made up Jo Nathan is playing too, first dj I ever saw at Panorama Bar. Genosys looks strong too, lots of djs i've never seen there, Mike Dunn, Joey Beltram, Dj Deeon to name some. Very happy.

Fingers crossed!

I don't get out clubbing quite so often these days (ie I never go out any more) so I always look forward to getting my fix in London Underground.

This has reminded me, in 2013 I was convinced Hot Chip were the secret Other Stage opener because they were all there - Alexis solo, Joe DJing, 2 Bears and New Build played as well I think.

Walked down towards the Other just as the set was starting, when I heard someone shout

"Turn around everyone! It's just some twat pretending to be Liam Gallagher!"

Just had word from the Bug that he's not playing - he declined their offer.

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
