I can't see 5FDP against SOAD. It would be a strange and hellish clash for me. System would win though

it'd be stranger to have either zombie or slayer clash with soad imo so it could be that five finger requested to headline second, thats if they were offered the 3rd from top slot again.

I would guess FFDP, Zombie and Slayer will be a mix of 2nd stage headliners and 3rd on mainstage.

Zombie works opposite Biffy, FFDP could be 3rd to SOAD and Slayer could fit either slot on the Sunday.

Agree with what @King101 said, think it's plausible that they could be a mixture of 3rd top on Main or 2nd stage headliners.

I think the only real indication there is that PoR will indeed be sub-headlining, im guessing under SoaD.

Sunday they are playing DL FR so it has to be Friday or Saturday, which surely sets them up under SoaD.

I doubt we are that far away from another announcement and I think Rancid need to be in it if they are playing.

That wouldn't stop them, they are supporting Green Day in Belfast though. Someone said they didn't think BST would book Rancid.

Rock on the range from Ohio announced line-up. Alter Bridge & Zack Sabbath should be at Download. Any more bands from that poster we can expect? Wouldn't mind to see Soundgarden, Primus, Bush...

I think Sum 41 and The Offspring/Papa Roach have a chance of Reading, bar that any others I'd expect at Download.

Think if Soundgarden played they'd probably want to headline.

The Offspring seem potential every year so i wouldn't think this adds anything to them being booked.

Suppose it puts basically every band on that list down as a possibility aside from Metallica, Soundgarden (most likely), Korn as they played last year.

If i could pick 3 bands off that list i'd probably go with The Offspring, Thrice and the ever reliable Frank Carter.

What Sum 41 who did just about every other European August festival last year except Reading?

And The Offspring who have played shows in the UK in the summer every year for the last 4 years but haven't returned to Reading since 2011? Don't think Reading really want them/are offering them a slot they feel they deserve.

Papa Roach only played in 2014 and haven't done Download since 2013?

Personally i think all 3 are much more likely for Download than Reading.
