"MAX 2 PER PERSON OVER ALL SHOWS (NOT PER SHOW!)

The name of the customer who places the order will be printed on each ticket for this concert. In order to gain entry to the venue, ticket holders will be asked to present valid photo ID matching the name printed on their ticket. Each ticket purchaser must enter the concert at the same time as his or her guests. Name changes will not be allowed. Failure to bring photo ID that matches the customer name will result in refusal of entry to the show. There will be no exceptions."

Yeah it most likely depends on the price for me too. Anything above £30 before fees and I'll likely give it a miss as by the time you add fees and travel on it'd be over £40.

Pre-sale is Wednesday at 6pm for those on their mailing list.

Just joined. Hopefully isn't too late.

I'm not entirely convinced they'll do anything bigger later in the year

Me neither generally but I think it could be these or Biffy Clyro that do the secret R&L set, in fact they both could with these taking the Jamie T I guess secret slot that was announced late.

I could easily see them doing JP header at Glasto, I think it'll be a nice intimate set that will get loads of coverage. I just don't see them on Pyramid or Other.

nah with the amount of hype building up around this new album they'd absolutely pack out that tent to a dangerous level, plus as dental has said many a time, they'd need the full orchestra. Other sub or third/fourth on Pyramid with the whole shebang

I don't anything about a full orchestra or about his posts. But if so maybe

Third down Pyramid is going to be a pretty great spot this year I reckon. TLSP, Tame Impala, PJ Harvey.

Way too easily pleased.

What are TLSP crowds like then? I know it's silly because it doesn't really matter but the idea of loads of Arctic Monkeys fans - and I suppose the minibus load of Miles Kane fans @kingcrawler - packing out a theatre and watching a 60's inspired symphonic rock act seems a little weird, particularly with my experience of Arctic Monkeys crowds.

 I don't even like Miles Kane that much now!

Yeah I imagine it'll be that crowd as I doubt they have many fans outside of the Arctic Monkeys fanbase.

Suppose. Though it's not really like all of their fans are yobs as they've got quite a vast fanbase now so it'd probably be okay. Still found it strange the other day when they were the first act to confirm for Primavera Sound as you wouldn't see Arctic Monkeys there.

I dunno, I'd say Arctic Monkeys do share some of that crowd even if it's not the majority although I'm not expecting them to play Primavera any time soon. I suppose Last Shadow Puppets might be seen as better suited given their different sound and obvious influences though.

Glad to see that bands are finally doing this, had some bad experiences from touts in the past. Be nice to see if someone figures out a way to change the names if you generally can't get to the gigs. But it's one step closer to giving the gigs back to the people and not to the touts.

Out of interest, why would you like to see all gigs go this way? If I couldn't make a show, I'd like to have the option to sell my ticket for face value or at least give it away. If every act adopted this principle for every show, this would be impossible.

The big gigs where there is high demand it's a good thing, because instead of losing half the tickets to touts just real fans get them and don't have to pay double the price from a second hand source.
