Ok...so thinking about buying my sister and her friend a ticket for my sister's 14 birthday...thing is they won't have any ID as they are 14....no passport.
They will be with 2 adults. Can anyone advise whether this will be an issue at all?

Yeah I was 14 at my first Slam Dunk South, they definitely wont ask for ID, it would be too much of a hassle with the amount of people there.

8 more bands on the 10th Feb, hoping for Modern Baseball and Frank Carter, would be cool if we got someone like Bowling for Soup/Alien Ant Farm or Good Charlotte as a bigger act. No idea who to expect though, just going for NFG and Panic! For the misses birthday present so the rest will be just drinks and checking out what others have recommended and new bands.

If they're in Kerrang then I'll post them later as the digital version usually goes live at around midnight.

Has this gone live yet? Not sure it'll have it in kerrang though as its not mentioned on the front cover.

I was really excited for this year after last especially with the bands around right now, sum 41, all time low, maybe even fall out boy but I don't even see any bands lower down I like, after moose blood's success last year I think it's stupid not to book them again. Does anyone know of / recommend an alternative to slam dunk in the UK or Europe because I don't think I'll be going this year :/

Next Wednesday for the next announcement - 24th - 8 more bands for anyone interested in here which is not many, if any at the minute.

No expecting any big names now really as it's quite late on but maybe they'll surprise us, be interesting to know how ticket sales are going... Hoping for Frank Carter and Modern Baseball

Doubtful of Modern Baseball. They're over here next week and April and I don't see them coming back over again in a short space of time. But I'm seeing them on both tours so I don't care :D

Also I'd like Frank Carter. Hopefully the end of the Kerrang tour means he'll be announced

Does anyone else think it's strange the wonder years haven't announced a UK headline tour yet? Surely they can't just be supporting enter shikari?

R&L Exclusive then own tour I bet. With regards to that tour and clashing, TKB being at Glasto now is great.

    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
