Thom's voice sounding pretty awful, it has to be said

yeah i hate to say it but he's sounding pretty ropey. may just be the stream quality, but i've been fearing for a while that his voice is going, hence why he tends to do a lot more monotonous talk-singing than actual singing on their most recent stuff

Aye I've been to a fair few on my own. It's fine. Worst bit is waiting for the band to start, which is why I often get there just as they're due on stage.

Yeah, i usually do the same. Hoping people are chatty in between the support and Radiohead but sometimes people just think your odd for talking to them.

Not listening / watching the stream, going to just enjoy the gig next week. Hope everyone at Amsterdam is enjoying it though. Seems like an interesting set list.

Daily Mail now.

What do you think of his voice here? Sounds pretty much spot on to me.

I imagine it'll take a bit of time to get back to peak Thom Yorke, but he seems fairly close here.

Bagged myself one for the Saturday. Can't wait!!!

gonna have to be the cheapo megabus down and a hostel for the night. Hyped about this.

Anybody else a sad enough fan to travel to London and see Radiohead alone?

Yep, travelling from Somerset. 300 quid for a one night stay in a holiday inn.. all worth it though. Pm me if you need a drinking buddy

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
