Apologies been working... I've told Neil what I've heard. It's nothing massive just a couple of different local hints about Adele playing. He might have a better idea whether they are reliable and whether it rules out Radiohead... Although one of the two bits suggested it wouldn't.

I've still not tried one. How does it work with the whole 'do you love anyone enough...' thing? Is it expected you'd buy a four pack and give the last one up? Loving someone enough to give them the last spoonful of a single yogurt seems unhygienic.

And loving anyone enough to give them a whole pot seems excessive.

Tbh I just buy a 4 pack and devour them all myself. It's every man, woman and child for themselves when it comes to those glorious pots of heaven.

I wrote it in another thread but I'll write it on here too. I heard from the guy that usually gets our lot backstage passes to Silver Hayes every year (his sister is a secretary at Glastonbury HQ) that Adele will headline Saturday up against BMTH on the Other Stage

I remember you saying this, but was this not proved to be not true by BMTH playing in Denmark or Canada at the same time? Or have I got that wrong?

they're playing in Canada on the Thursday IIRC. they could be back in the UK by Friday night if they wanted....

I stand corrected! They're playing at a Canadian festival between Thurs 23/06 - Sat 25/06. & Neil had word that New Order were confirmed for the Saturday Other headliner?

Big Chvrches fan so yeah I'll take that. And if New Order aren't doing it for me, I'll wander round and see how Adele is getting on

EDIT: This post suggests that at some point, without realising it, I must have finally accepted Radiohead aren't headlining :(

      Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.

      Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.

      A lot of people have said this online but does the Marvel world need new cities to play with? New York seems to be a target of all the villains to the point where you wonder why anyone in that world still lives there. Much as you can accuse me of overthinking it I guess haha.    I do agree that The Void is a compellingly different villain in many respects given the superpower is trapping people in their most traumatic memories. Shame in some respects the film came out in the post-Endgame funk Marvel seems stuck in and a lot of people missed out on it.    Speaking of, I rewatched Infinity War the other day. First time I think I've seen it since seeing it in the cinema on its opening day. Holds up pretty well imo - I have issues sometimes with ensemble casts and jumping between 4/5 storylines but it felt this one got the balance right and also properly explored Thanos. So it was good.

      I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his.
