saw them the week before this year's Glastonbury and it was one of the best gigs i've ever seen.

 

 

wouldn't expect them to play though, they'll surely be well finished their tour by then? although Michael did mention something about 6 months ago about what a great man FM's manager was, so maybe they're one of the ones that was already tied up for next year, taking the big pay-cheque at IoW first.

I'm over the Vaccines, that 3rd album was really not very good at all. I still think the second one is a top notch bit of guitar pop, but anyway, thats got nothing to do with Fleetwood Mac being fuckawful, from concept to execution.

And Stevie Nicks? Meh, i've just rewatched Patti Smith absolutely fucking tear the Pyramid a new arsehole. Thats what i want up there. Fleetwood fucking Mac. Look at 'em, They're all scarves, bangles and dead, dead eyes.

I'm a big fan of dreampop, generally, and love a good waft, but FM really do give me the screaming abdabs. Dunno why it's quite so visceral, but i detest the rehabilitation they've recieved over the last 5 years.
