BBC weather now showing dry all weekend.

As are Netweather, the only website that ever seems gets it right.

Still 72 hours for it all to go to shit, of course.

Hi all, due to me just being let down by a friend I have 2 adult tickets and a car park ticket available. I'll accept a sensible offer and will post them by Special Delivery for guaranteed receipt before 9am the next day. Please message me ASAP if you're interested in buying any or all of the tickets. Cheers

This is just down the road from me, just made a few calls and sourced a ticket should I want it.

Mmm, seriously tempted. Been a couple years since I last flew solo.

Is it possible you will get a better offer this bank holiday weekend ?

Done deal - Wife is off to bag my ticket as I type.

Anyone from here meeting up at all? Flying solo as I said so meeting for a pint would be nice.

I am also flying solo. Feel free to message me if you fancy that pint.

Thank you to all the members for your inspiration and encouragement. Have a brilliant weekend!

Looks like I'll be there solo too seeing as I've had no takers for my tickets and I'm not bloody wasting them completely!! Sounds wrong I know, but you know how it is when you thought you were going with that someone special, then they mess you around at the last minute........

Still one ticket available if anyone knows anyone that needs one.

Hope to meet some of you at the 1pm get together on Friday, assuming it's still on?

Everything is in the car. Now pacing the house waiting for time to leave to roll around.

If Zombie Met Girl are on at 13:00 on Friday I won't be popping into the bar at that time cos they is ace.

Best of the three that I have attended. The brilliant weather helped of course (though the nights were exceptionally cold and damp this year). If anyone happened to look up at a fire tower where you were camped or parked this year, you would have probably seen me. From what I was able to see between shifts, my highlights were Levs, Bad Manners, Dr. and the Medics and Stiff Little Fingers.

Put it this way - on the Thursday I was thinking about going back next year and the festival hadn't even started. Such a lovely, chilled out vibe, PIL were spectacular. Squeeze were a surprise highlight and Asian Dub Foundation were brilliant stand ins for Arrested Development. I loved the fact that stages were in easy reach of each other and I could just dart in and out of each stage and watch a little bit of this and that. Everyone I spoke to was really friendly and there force good time, and the food and drink was excellent. Jaipur X is so strong though!

All in all, a great build up to Glastonbury and it has got me very excited for 4 weeks time.

Great weekend. I thought Billy Bragg was exceptional, also loved Zombie Met Girl, Roughneck Riot, SLF, Bad Manners (with Max Splodge!), some bands that I can't remember the names of in Gail's Tea Tent, Beans On Toast and The Doonicans.

Bit worried I've used up all my festival good weather for the year though.

My only complaint would be that, in my opinion, Electro Swing outstays its welcome after one or two songs, the abundance of it in Maui Waui kept me out of there for most of the festival and I normally spend a lot of time in the tent, in its previous guises. Still, plenty else to see and do but is it actually that popular?

Anyway, this now sounds like a moan and it's not, BT get so much right in what they do, it's amazing.

    • Out of interest (I could look but being lazy), do Mad Cool repeat that quickly? They only played last year
    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.
