I'm not very practiced of twitter, what's that?

is it a tweet from a fanpage or is it official?

If I'm not mistaken, thats a fanpage. However, I have seen on some of the big fanpages (which are usually reliable) that numerous good sources have Bruce doing an EU tour in 2016. Not much more info on when it will be / if it will be festivals yet.

Don't really know any of the additions so that's a bit disappointing but hopefully they're just putting out random announcements rather than leaving all the filler until the end.

Any recommendations or what each of these artists are similar too so I can delve into a few that are similar to my tastes? EDIT: Please!

Listen to PJ Harvey's 'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea'. Masterpiece.

From what I read pointBlankSpain is pretty reliable source. I copied this tweet from festileaks. There's an interesting article about very possible tour in spring/summer

First early Summer date for Netsky confirmed. He's a 100% certainty for Main Stage closer now.

Also I noticed that Tame Impala, Ellie Goulding, Years & Years, Disclosure, Macklemore, The 1975 and Foals all have non-sold out (or nearly sold out) Belgian shows coming up in the next weeks. Might explain why we're still lacking these obvious certainties.

Thinking about this pearl jam announcement due to be made, is there any reason why they can't do the us tour, play bonnaroo and pay europe late june /july , other than the safety issue.

Cant see it relates to safety issues. The only thing that led to this assumption is based on timing.  There can be many different reasons for that.

Hello.

My name is Adam, I used to be a regular on here but lost my account details.

My and my girlfriend are looking at going to a festival abroad next year. I'm currently eyeing up Rw or Roskilde.

Few questions, is Florence headlining?

When can we expect the lineup to be announced by?

And just any advice would be a great help. I've been to loads of festivals myself and ive been to optimus /NOS Alive outside the UK.

Thanks guys!

Hi and welcome back!

Florence will headline,  maybe on her own or maybe in a co-headline structure. In the last two years they started to announce regularly few artists almost every week,  usually on Friday,  beginning  mid-January. So the whole lineup should be ready by the April I guess or even earlier. This year it started slowly so dont take my words for granted.

As for advices,  you've been to many festivals so can you be more specific ?

I know I said advice, but it's more "What is Rw Like" that I need answering?

And has anyone been to Roskilde? How do the two compare?

Thanks guys

You can't compare roskilde and werchter, it's a bit like comparing Glastonbury and reading with a good line up.

You go for werchter for the line up, roskilde for the experience.you will get different thing out of them both.

Probably you need to ask yourself what's important line up or experience.

Don't rule out sziget.

    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
