mike86
I was far too hungover to venture over there but curious if it was him and what the crowd was actually like? Seemed like a very odd venue to have him on after the carnage that was the blues on saturday night.
Jimmyeatspeople
It was indeed, only stayed for about 45 minutes of his 2 hour set. It was fairly busy in the tent but not rammed like Stonebridge can be. Nobody stood outside the tent for example.
stuartbert two hats
I didn't tweet it until it had just started, for two reasons:1. The Blues crush spooked me.2. A very lively 2 yr old daughter making me lose track of time.
arcade fireman
To be fair I think this one was known long beforehand.
stuartbert two hats
To be fair I think this one was known long beforehand. Well, we knew about it. Plenty of people tweeted me with questions about the Bastille and Charlatans sets which were listed as dead certs on here weeks before. I remember on the Thursday I was in the tent for Mike Skinner, turned around and saw literally thousands of people stood outside the tent. The strangest thing. mattiloy
yes. i stayed for the two hours and it was mega. didn't see him at the blues but heard a number of people remarking that the stonebridge bar set was better afterwards.
rubenz
Was trying to watch a nice chilled acoustic set from Denai Moore in the Crows Nest which was somewhat drowned out by a combination of fatboys terrible tunes and the Fat White Family. (I fell asleep instead!)
Homer
Yes it was him. Was very good. He was being a real showman and playing up to the crowd, playing anthems, etc. Tent was busy but only full to the edge. I danced at the edge of the tent for about 90 mins, could still see easily enough. Could have prob got near the front without too much trouble I would imagine. Whole thing was a bit of a bonus really - I totally forgot about the secret set then remembered as I was walking past as I spontaneously went to see the Fat Whites with some mates and saw the busy tent and heard Dub Be Good to Me. V lucky! Edited July 21, 2015 by Homer

siblin
1. The Blues crush spooked me. I knew the blues would be like that, but I've no idea why people go nuts about seeing a DJ, there are plenty of others just as good if not better than him around. CaledonianGonzo
But do those other DJs play The Rockefeller Skank? Do they?

Homer
He played it towards the end I think. However, he's really moved on. When I saw him post sh1t spraying in 98 he had a boot of it spliced with Satisfaction by the Stones. This time it was spliced with, I think, Twist and Shout (by The Beatles).
