That was a meltdown. Instigated by the physio thing. Remember he walked the league the season previous though.

And he can play good football when he wants. He did at Madrid. And Inter. And his worst football is still better than LVGs.

To counter that argument, klopp was shit on a stick last season with Dortmund.

Different times but did wonders with St Mirren and won 3 leagues, 4 cups and the Cup Winners Cup with Aberdeen. Beat Madrid, Bayern, beat Hamburg in the Super Cup etc. No other team apart from Celtic or Rangers have won the league since Fergie left Scotland. 30 years ago.

Indeed. Looked like they might get relegated at one stage. They were dead last for a few weeks and in the relegation zone fore a couple of months.

That was 3 years previous and at the time Real Madrid weren't the force they are now. The CWC was 3rd fiddle to the European Cup and UEFA Cup and Real Madrid hadn't won a European trophy in 20 years. 

I'm not suggesting Ferguson was a no one but he wasn't a big hitter either. No bigger than Emery currently is anyway.
