Just got in. Feels strange being gutted with a replay.

Yeah deserved the win. Played the better footie, had the better chances. And what a freekick!

I was disappointed to see Man Utd get the draw as it would be nice to guarantee a different club winning something.  Bad result for Arsenal, I have a feeling it may be the end for Wenger if they don't turn it round in the title race.

Mertesacker chickened out of blocking the 2nd goal. Hes captain. Says it all really.

Hammers fans must feel aggrieved at Randy being put into the net by Basti.

No.

Schweinsteiger clearly isn't fouling the 'keeper, and in not fouling the 'keeper he's clearly not offside or interfering with play.

I think the referee was mighty unfair on glory glory Man Utd. He surely forgot the rule that Man Utd goals scored at the Stretford End count double?

To be fair if Emenike had his shooting boots on the game was finished by half time, so we have no one to blame but ourselves.

What I will say about Utd, having watched them twice in space of couple days...

Theyre terrible.

Will be terrible on Thursday too. And Sunday. Season will be over by the weekend. LVG truly done then. Getting knocked out of Europe by Liverpool and the top 4 by City in the space of 4 days.

Bournmouth have scored more goals than Utd this season. And Sunderland may have by the weekend. Thats a sackable offence alone.

You think Maureen sorts out this mess chief?

Yes.

Can get rid of the trash and put foundations in for a strong team. Utd need to spend (another) fortune this window and LVG isn't that man to do it.

Whatever mess Mourinho might leave, its worth the risk.

Yeah. Realistic ones.

Theres plenty of good coaches out there in world football, are you saying there is only one coach that could do the job? I would prefer a young exciting coach, rather than the predictable appointment. They have tried the predictable with moyes, lvg and it has not worked.

try something new and fresh.

Sadly its going to be jose though.

Blanc has been mentioned.

Yeah I saw that one over the weekend, I personally think its all sorted for jose.

Knowing united post fergie, it will all go pair shaped. He will probably poke Sir Bobby Charlton's eye out and knee fergie in the balls.

There was a Man Utd supporter on 606 last night blaming poor performances entirely on LVG. He then went on to state Woodward bought poor players and De Gea was their one and only world class player. The hosts pointed out the contradiction.

I don't care what the truth is - but when you're made to look foolish by Kelly Cates and Ian Wright you might want to have a word with yourself.

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
