Gutted with the impossibility of seeing both Wolf Alice & Jungle on the friday due to time over laps.

I have heard that Wolf Alice are going to be playing in Williams Green on the Thursday, but its not on the announcement?

can anyone confirm the time they are on?

Also, how can one find the Williams Green area?? and how busy will it be on the Thursday?

Well done to William's Green for bagging the excellent Phantom Band and East India Youth for Sunday, sadly I can't see these two due to clashes, but they're both great, The Phantom Band are particularly good live. I'll be, bright and early for Nadine Shah on Saturday morning. I love WG.

We got there about 10 minutes before The 1975 last year (we got lost and ended up walking up and down the path where the Bandstand and Cider Bus are several times) and it was really busy. It was quite easy to work our way to 3-4 rows outside the tent though and by halfway through their set we were in the tent. There was a big exodus after their set so we got a decent spot for Metronomy.

Basically, get there early if you want a good spot in the tent.

William's Green is great but it's tiny and a bit out of the way. They always have a killer line-up though.

For the Thursday secret sets, get there early and set up camp because it fills up fast. I was on the fringe of the tent for Metronomy and it was quality despite not being able to see a thing.

As others have pointed out, Northern Soul night on Saturday (followed by another Northern Soul night at Jag'z Acid Lounge) should be a winner.

Shame they are not showing it on one of the outside stages then, so that as many people could watch it as wanted to, like they did with the World Cup on the Wednesday in 2010 (not suggesting Pyramid is appropriate for this screening, but one of the other stages)

Can anyone remember how rammed that area was and how hot it was for Two Door Cinema Club back in 2010 ?

I seem to remember Maximo Park played their once and that was just as bad

I wonder if they will ever consider put a screen or two up outside the tent. They have a nice area to site outside Williams Green - you can sit down and hear whats going on inside the tent but it might be good if you could see it as well for when the tent gets rammed, especially late at night, Then again, it could get rammed outside the tent as well, which could be a H&S issue as it gets a lot of traffic through it

Its not out of the way if you camp with us in Big Ground - its a short walk

It wasn't much fun when the Vaccines played in there in 2013 especially as they were late so another guy played a set before they came on. You could hardly breathe in the place.

It totally depends on the popularity of the acts that on in their

As I said it the tent and area around it were rammed for Maximo Park and Two Door Cinema Club.

If there is a popular act or people hear rumours about a possible act then yes it will be busy.

If its me and the cat doing a duo it will be quiet , if the rumour mill starts and they thinks it Pulp or whatever it will be rammed even it is just me and the cat

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
