St Paul and the Broken Bones and Alvvays are my favourites so far (I think they are both TBC). And a special mention to Vintage Trouble who were my favourite new band last year but got rained off after a song and a half.

I saw Belle and Sebastian in Santiago last year, I wouldn't say they are the most spectacular live band you will ever see but they make up for it with charm and great songwriting

Just listened to my first Alvvays song. Good call! They sound great.

Found another group called the Cadbury Sisters, down as TBC here, really liked what I heard

I enjoyed these from the Spotify list - had never even heard the name before. Where are they playing?

Quite enjoying Songhoy Blues too, that should be good fun

Working through the rumour / confirmed list, probably not new to some but new for me! Bard, Circa Waves (they'll be brilliant if the weather's right), Father John Misty and Gregory Porter. And I know I'm about 2 decades behind on these two, but Belle & Sebastian and Super Furry Animals!

I saw Belle & Sebastian on Monday in Westminster Central Hall. They are definitely well worth the watch. Incredibly fun and I'm looking forward to watching them in the festival setting.

Me neither but really liked them. They're TBC on here, maybe they self confirmed? Can't find much info..

Songhoy were on Jools Holland a few weeks back, really enjoyed them too

What playlists do you follow?

I'm on richardmunden's on Spotify, seems decent enough and regularly updated although there's a few on there who I'm not sure are playing or announced yet - Texas? The Charlatans? The Specials? Buzzcocks?

Maybe I just haven't kept up to speed with the Self Confirmed thread..

That's mine. Includes SRs and TBCs from the lineup page as well as confirmed acts. See this thread for details. I'd be very surprised if, of all of the acts on there, more than a couple end up not playing.

'Decent enough'??? Its much much more than that, it's a work of graft and wonder.

I tip my virtual hat to thee sir, I guessed as much, great work all the same! :)

Only started playing it over the last day or so and I'm impressed so far! Had one last year - think I followed it too early and the owner never updated it so had a tonne of crap and rumoured acts who never played on there

Yeah, Alvvays are lovely, I'd say if you're a Camera Obscura (Would like to see them too!) fan then you're guaranteed to like them. How likely are they to play do we reckon?

Spot on! I love Camera Obscura too, I'm surprised they have never been in the Glasto mix (or at least not since I started going)

    • Hezbollah rejected it. Really Israel should get the f**k out, and US and others should support the Lebanese govt in defeating Hezbollah.
