  1. You only really need them unless it's apocalyptic conditions on site. Put some in the boot of your car, just in case. Walking boots all the way!
  2. Hear Hear, Citra is one of the best session beers around. My local always has it on. Off sale wise I've only ever seen it in glass bottles unfortunately. Brew York is expensive but it's one if the best breweries in the country. £4 a can is a dear do but you get what you pay for. The Empress Tonkoko is probably one of the best I've ever tasted. They have a tap room and beer hall in York that are well worth checking out - the range of beers is out of this world.
  3. Any new bars this year ? I read somewhere there's going to be a craft beer place - hope they get some of Brew York's Eavis Juice in , that would be perfect!
  4. There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
  5. Thinking of coming? I assume you have a ticket. There'll be space somewhere, best asking the Campsite Crew when you arrive.
  6. Can anyone suggest any chuggy house / techno DJs? Like A Love From Outer Space / Manfredas / Ivan Smagghe type of groove ?
  7. You park whichever car park the stewards are filling at the time you arrive, hopefully in your case that will be Orange. If they do put you in Pink on the far side of the main road , go back to your car on Friday or Saturday and move it into Orange to make Monday morning easier ... Put it near one of the access tracks so you don't get stuck in a massive queue to get out.
  8. I usually just pay on the gate. One year the steward just pointed and said pay him over there. Him over there just waved me through. Happy Days. It was only £20 back then not £55.
  9. Dave Seaman doesn't play 90s rave, it's progressive house. Check out his label Selador , or podcast of the same name.
  10. Unless you want to camp in a specific spot and are happy with being in one of the fields further out aim for Wednesday afternoon. The queues will have mostly subsided why then and there will still be plenty of space to camp, especially if not in a large group.
  11. My friend is getting a lift down with people who are staying at Worthy View but isn't staying there herself. Can she access the main site from there or will she have to get to one of the main gates. Its a hell of a long way to Ped Gate D from there.
  12. I can't get the day off on the Wednesday so realistically I'm not going to get on site until 8/9pm at the earliest. Usually we're on site by 9am and the campsites are already starting to get busy so I'm a bit worried about ending up having to camp by the toilets, on a hill etc. Can anyone provide any reassurances that there'll still be some decent camping spots available or perhaps I should just bit the bullet and pay £700 for Tangerine Fields? At least that will take the stress away, its giving me anxiety now and its still weeks away! There's only 2 of us, sharing a medium size tent.
