Lovely, I was watching it as the sun went down. There was a bit of activity on the pyramid field today, but that’s been quite common for a while now ,  also saw some activity at the bottom of what I reckon is the new path to worthy view. Wonder if they are doing some improvements on it.

It's where they park the tour buses, so maybe some sort of drainage or making it more level.

Is amazing if it is .the work that goes on in the close season … it just continues to evolve , never seen any issues there but guess it all drains off into the river and it’s important the celebs don’t get wet feet getting off those buses 🙂

fortunately now we’ve had a few dry weeks which should lower the water table … despite the floods on the Somerset levels I expect we are still not topped up in the reservoirs

Derbyshire reservoirs have been overflowing last few weeks... Don't know how that relates to Somerset, but thought it worth mentioning.

That being said, we never even got a hosepipe ban in summer...

Is it Wessex Water or Bristol in that area??? Wessex reservoirs are full, and ground water levels higher than usual... https://corporate.wessexwater.co.uk/our-purpose/enhancing-the-environment/water-resources Can't imagine Bristol Water is too different.
