expecting people on the land no doubt :(

Surely in the current circumstances, all the signage, social media warnings , press reports no one would attempt to access the site at this time? Plenty time to visit in the future once permission is granted!  A few security personnel on a quad bike might be needed.

6,000 people attended illegal raves in Manchester this weekend. People are dumb.

Obviously the more dedicated someone is to the festival and understands the whole ethos of the festival the less likely they are to disobey the explicit instructions of the Eavis family.  Disregard  these instructions and it could have implications for future access which would affect all of us.

No they are doing digging work there. It's to keep the cows and odd person out. Nothing out of the ordinary

Thanks, It’s nice to have eyes and ears close by to the site feeding us the info.   I can understand the cows might lack the sense to stay out as even the Eavis cows can’t read but have no sympathy for the odd person!

the roadway from the back of the pyramid field to the kids and acoustic areas can get rather muddy in a wet year, maybe that needs a bit of drainage. A prime spot to watch mud surfing by those who seem to enjoy it.

It’s raining in Pilton but not biblical. Would have damped the dust is all.

Even in this non festival year your weather reports have a calming effect better than any nerve tonic. Much better and more accurate than the prophets of doom on the weather thread!

Just the difference between those that think they know and those of us who are actually in Pilton and can tell it as it is.

👍  true, it seems to have its own micro climate! Must be something to do with the leylines!

we stayed extremely close to the site for a holiday during the last fallow year and had this wonderful view

Looks like a number portacabins have been set up, and a trailer.

Stab in the dark, but could the BBC be broadcasting their links from the (empty) site this weekend?

That would just be asking for trouble and a lot of people to turn up.

maybe they are putting security on to stop people who want to go to the farm, didn’t they do that in 2018?

    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
