it was the root, or extras page.

Yesterday it looked like Tour was the one they were playing with the most.  I have a feeling "Tour" changes automatically when they change their database, and extras/root is a manually changed page

In previous GA resales (certainly the official one in April, and the secret one last year) the extras page became the "enter your registrations" page, so I reckon that's the key one for me this year. But as others say, monitor both.

Part of me quite enjoys these false alarms, it's allowed me to hone my data entry to a fine art. Part of though thinks my heart won't last the week if I carries on like this!

Last year - from memory, was a week later than previous year, there was talk on Twitter/here I think that this was possibly due to some issues at see's end - technical difficulties or volume to process I'm not sure...

2014, refund deadline was fri 9th, I secured tickets on wed 14th, so in the week following refunds...

if if see are on the ball, it really could be anytime, hopefully sooner rather than later.

still guessing at 2pm today though, but it could also be next week....

Very true. He's been posting up various 'tweets' that have been created in one of those sites that will create a picture of a fake tweet. 

What can you expect of a group who's main selling point is that they can use the C word.

Hi guys,

I have created a script that instantly enters your reg num and postcode into the form on the general admission tickets link http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2016/worthy-farm/900001/ (assuming that this will be the link that will go live for ticket sales), then automatically clicks submit / proceed 100 times quicker than you could type it!!

It uses Internet Explorer, all you need to do is edit the file with your details and save it.

Save the auto_glasto.txt file to your desktop, (auto_glasto.txt <-- click the link to download the file) 

open the file, edit the reg num "123456789" & post code "######" entries ensuring they are still between "quotes",

save the file, then change the file extension from .txt to .vbs

(if you cant see the .txt file extension, you will need to change folder options to show the file extensions, untick the "hide extensions for known file types" option) - see below

This is what you should end up with:

Then give it a test by double clicking the auto_glasto.vbs - it should fire up internet explorer, enter your details and click submit before your very eyes! Most likely get the "tickets currently unavailable" notice when it pops up. My thinking is that if this is the link they will make live for sales, clicking the script should fire up IE, enter reg details and click submit in milliseconds giving you a higher chance of proceeding to the payment stage.

Hope this makes sense, and helps anyone & everyone to obtain a ticket to the holy land!! I cannot guarantee this will be successful, but its defo worth a shot!  If anyone has any problems setting this up, drop me a PM and I'll try get back to you asap.

Lets be honest.  It's in peoples interest to make you believe there won't be a sale to give themselves a better chance.

Nothings ever certain, but consider past history, and the fact see have been making changes, and weigh that against your current stress levels and decide if its worth going for it and trying to get a ticket.

I know I would if i was still needing one.

I also cannot open the file. If you could upload the code online to pastebin or something then maybe we could just make our own .txt file?
