Morning peeps.

Those of you already signed up know that the http://www.checkpage.co.uk system works very well for immediately alerting people to changes with the Glasto ticket page, so if you've not signed up already, why not? :P

I'd also suggest signing up to be a Gold Member as well.  Whilst this won't get you anything more towards the tickets, it helps the forum keep going - which indirectly helps you.

By the way, by "you" I mean punters!  Lol.

Now the whole world knows about the not so secret sale, still not everyone has the WhatsApp systems or the text alerts from Neil. Good luck and may the 7 gods be with you

I don't think any more people know about it than usual. It's not so secret anyway, all it takes is a search of Google to find out about it

Definitely more people chatting about it on facebook this year. Every other post in glasto chat is someone asking when they'll be. Last couple of years it was the odd mention here and there, and a link to the page when the tickets went live. Agreed it's very easy to find info about them if you know how to use Google though!

There are a lot more people chatting about it, but 95% of them aren't prepared or care enough. I bet the people who found out about it yesterday have already forgot about it. We're going to be watching that page like a hawk until they go on sale, they'll just be getting on with their lives :P we got this

Exactly. I think your chances are much higher if you're on this thread like we are all day! People are smashing at updating and sharing helpful info. Just cannot trust that FB group when it comes to info.

If we have a good page alert set up, quick access to a PC, and all your information is ready to be copy and pasted into the fields, then you've pretty much bagged your ticket without a problem.

Last year i had about 10 minutes to get it done. one of my friends had to dig out his registration number, send me money, and i still had time to spare

Whats the Facecrack group people are talking about? I haven't seen it myself but curious to have a look at it and see what drivel people are posting. I remember something a year or so back, someone was completely convinced it was gonna be this date and that date and blah blah and well I needn't say anymore

    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
    • Second go.....    Still f**king fantastic - Well done WIlliam Orbit -  Bugman & Trimm Trabb mega tracks - No Distance Left To Run hauntingly Beautiful
