is it too late to enter? I love competitions.

The prize is only the sense of satisfaction from guessing correctly.

Feel free! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. (Until next time, anyway)

Admittedly I'm worried there will be no secret sale either because I'm pretty committed to seeing this out despite the torture...

...however we've had three interesting pieces of info - 1) after 2pm today, 2) the 5pm deadline yesterday, and 3) '100s of tickets refunded' which all seem promising to me. Fingers crossed.

A page monitor from a couple of days ago had ended up in spam, so I clicked not spam. 2 mins later I get a "new siblin email" through and crap myself refreshing the page. Yes it was the ones from 2 days ago...

Don't think my heart can cope much longer!

I'm one of those who tend not to downvote. Not for a long time anyway. It doesn't feel very Glastonbury to me. If I disagree with it I'll explain why, no need for red arbitrary numbers, I prefer the green ones.

Out of upvotes today to reverse the down vote on this post, Tommy.

At least know that I would have done!

:)

Its been quiet on the notification front this year, I keep logging into the page checker to see if its all turned on!

I was thinking the same, I remember last year the notifications were pretty crazy.

100s of tickets? I missed that, that does sound promising! :D

has anyone else had the holding page come up while refreshing?

That's just an auto blocker if you refresh too often, slow it down a tad and it won't show. It's there to combat mad auto-refreshing... it's always live on the site.

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
