Clash finder?

I couldn't understand why it said 'Don't Even Think About It' when the Festival has officially announced the days and times, either. So long as the site reflects the official timetable accurately, it should be at least 'Now now. Soon, I promise'.

I might be wrong but I think it said don't even think about it until about the Monday before the festival

Hat's off to the Clashfinder people - it's a fantastic job and they keep up with technology.

It would have been easy to have built it and left it but every year there are huge improvements - brilliant.

(I'm a web dev and know how tough this stuff is).

I do hope enough people, who can afford it, buy him a paypal pint to say thanks.

Hear Hear! Plus you get to see what percentage of people have highlighted a particular act.

Moaning about the Clashfinder......real first world problems right there.

because plenty of stuff on it will change in the next few weeks, so printing it now will definitely result in you having a wrong clashfinder.

Don't know if I'm being completely thick here - I've highlighted in green the acts I'm 100% seeing and ones in blue I will try to see. I did this a couple of years ago then I clicked something which took me to another page and showed the ones I'd selected in a table. Basically just the acts and times and stages that I want to see. Why can't I do it now!?

If you click on "view" along the top and then select "itinerary".....Does that help?

One way that works is to go into settings/stages and clicking 'select all' twice to remove all ticks, and making sure 'always display stages with highlighted act' is ticked.

This will removes all the stages from your clashfinder, except if there is an act playing that day that you've highlighted.

I've said before but it would be nice if once you've highlighted all the acts you like, you could click a button "find clashes" and it runs a script that brings all your clashes up. It's difficult looking up and down the full list for clashes.

Like Mazola said in the post above yours, if you hide the stages that don't have acts highlighted you'll have less to scroll up and down through; that's what I do. Send Halvin a PM to see if he'll do the script, but that would be needing some donation to help him along, I'd suggest.

That's the thing, it's more work for him and i duno if he is capable of doing. I just think it would be a great addition to it. I have acts spread out all over though so it makes it difficult. are you saying you can individually remove stages?

Edit: just read the post you mentioned, this would help.

Yes,

If you're logged in, click on Clashfinder on the top left, then Customise, then Stages, then untick all the stages (or click the 'Select All' twice), but leave the bottom item ticked (Always display stages with highlighted acts, even if they haven't been selected in the 'Include Stages' section), and you should have only the stages showing where you've got people highlighted. It doesn't hide non-marked people on those stages you've still got showing, but does hide the stages you don't need.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
