will be high up on john peel i'd have thought, about 3rd from top?

good spot, my other half will be pleased!

i think stuff like this shows the announcement is not obviously too far away. if bands are (at least apparently) making concrete plans based upon being booked for Glasto then its all in the bag and not far off being ready, at least on the main stages.

i saw them on their first comeback tour in manchester at gorilla and it was pretty wild, great festival band! will unite our group as something a lot of us will want to see, so thats good.

undercard is looking extremely promising this year : )

Their first comeback tour was in academy 1 in 2011

Yeah the Gorilla show was late last year and then early this year they came back to do the Ritz this year

.

My bet is subbing JPT but I wouldn't rule out a Park Stage slot

Something like

Enter Shikari

Death From Above 1979

Palma Violets

As one night on JPT would be heaven for me

They aren't going to play The Park absolutely no way, and except from DFA that would be appallingly poor

Parquet Courts did it last year so I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility.

And all appallingly poor really? There have been several top trios for the JPT with weaker bookings than that in my opinion. Not varied I can see your point but poor I really don't think so.

Don't get me wrong il admit if I'm wrong, there's just no way DFA are playing The Park, mid high JP or low other for sure

It's not the lack of variation and more the addition of enter shikari, they are an absolutely terrible addition to any line up

In my opinion (for icewulf)

I thought they were utterly shite at Brixton last month sadly. Just a wall of noise with all the subtlety of the latest album removed. And I really bloody love their recorded output.

If they did play I would think JP tent more likely.

Really? I thought they were great in Glasgow. I went into it unsure on whether they'd be any good live or not but I was quite impressed.

I agree. The sounding was slightly off in glasgow as well but that's because the ABC isn't a brilliant venue, still enjoyable, I actually think they play better live now than they did when I saw them touring this first album
