there are no day tickets today, at least, not according to what T have sent out.

Thanks for this neil :). Saved me wasting valuable time with T and went all out for Manc. Didn`t do me any good though :( Eventually got through  for Saturday pitch and got the " sorry sold out ". Had seen this ( copy over from the T forum ) and assumed that there were Friday day tickets on sale today.

@Tinthepark do day tickets go on sale Friday too? Or just wkend?

This has been up there with Glastonbury ticket sales for difficulty

I think it seemed a little more stressful? although obv not! maybe because I thought it would be fairly easy compared the glasto tickets? (spent about 3 months worrying about glasto ticket day lol)

Can't believe I'm doing this, but after looking at the Manchester hotel price hikes, and taking into account the total costs, I've decided to take the massive risk of doing TITP. If you had of asked me a day or two ago I would never have thought of it. I looked on Monday at hotel prices when the gigs were announced and they were all cheap. Looked back last night and the same hotels are now charging £140 just because of the gigs. I know I'm letting myself in for a possible horrific lineup as well as a load of absolute arseholes like. I'm just praying that Mumford and The Killers are kept away, or at least New Order headline the King Tuts.

At that kind of money I'd be waiting and seeing what European dates turn up, they did some relatively small indoor venues in Barcelona and Amsterdam as part of the 2012 warm up tour.

Same here, we did the first two nights of the tour at Barcelona last time around, the venue felt about the same size as Manchester Academy, maybe 2 to 3 thousand capacity. Brilliant stuff.

so is that 4 nights sold out then? Surely they'll have made enough cash from this to take the pay cut and do glastonbury...Ian brown will want to cement his legend I reckon.

Wednesday not selling anywhere near as quick - although Im not seeing any announcements just dates added to ticketing sites

Wednesday just gone on sale!

That was carnage - got through eventually for 10 sat - needed 12.

Wednesday literally just gone on sale!

I hope they keep adding nights. I hope they add so many that everyone can comfortably get a ticket and those twats trying to charge £300 on tout sites can't sell a single one.

You going?

Can't justify expense to be honest. May go if I have money nearer time.
Won't touch heaton park in terms of brilliance

nah I cant justify the expense of a ticket+accomodation in manchester at a venue that you fellows have reported isnt that great for music.

Wish I'd gone to heaton but they were ace in london so I can die happy enough if I never see them again.

Finger crossed for glastonbury, but the recent rumours make that seem hopeless.

Me too - I might get the two I need for the saturday to complete our group that way!  Refuse to pay more than face value!

If you've got your reference number on a print-screen when you purchased your tickets, go on See Tickets customer service and type both your reference number and post-code and that will confirm whether you have them for definite or not! Alternatively, Wednesday standing still on sale

    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
