Ok, so we've clarified that he is the devil and this booking will ultimately spell the end of the festival and human existence itself, but what do people want to hear him play?

I think this is fairly realistic, apart from omitting a few of the bigger songs that he'll obviously play a few of (stronger, touch the sky, can't tell me nothing etc), and not including any new songs that I'm sure will be done

7. Power

That must've taken a while to even copy and paste that on every line, impressive commitment to a bad joke.

i've been quite impressed in general by the effort a lot of people are putting into Kayne hate

I've got a lovely image of Kanye sat in a gold edged blanket going through all these post with a big smirk on his face, shouting to Kim every 5 minutes when he finds a new favourite

Surely Heartless over Say You Will?

Heartless is so utterly steeped in passive-aggressive misogyny, but god damn if that chorus isn't catchy as hell.

its the music that pisses me off - the pan pipes or whatever they are. just really terrible stuff. although when he plays it i'll no doubt be loving every minute of it. would much prefer something else off 808's though (Welcome To Heartbreak or Paranoid especially, but they're never gonna happen)

To be honest I'm not really bothered about any of the 808 & Heartbreak songs live. I think the most interesting thing on the whole album is Pinocchio Story, but it's so disarmingly personal that it's actually quite uncomfortable to listen to.

"I'm not running for office, I'm just here to make good music and make people feel good. Because for me, I'm a copy and paste genius and there's no other way to word it. I know you're not supposed to say that about yourself, I say things the wrong way a lot of times, but my intention is always positive. I want to help the world. I want to make people's lives easier."

Only slighly edged by the effort going into the hyperbole over him :P

    • Solid list...  but i must ask?  are you excluding Lime Garden & Tomora as you didn't like them or is it that you havent listened to them?
    • It was Brooklyn last year, and I seem to remember a Guinness tent
    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
