Nah, StubHub is their official ticketing partner so why would they fuck over their sponsors? .

Dunno.

Looks like it wasn't that many tickets in the charity sale anyway. Either that or ticket sales prior to today were better than expected.

Ive direct messaged them on Facebook as per their request so im hoping i manage to get my tickets as it will be a top day out. I just messaged my mate Ross who loves Blur saying 'Do you want to come to the ultimate Glasto warm up... a free ticket to Blur?' He went mental until i explained to him we may not actually be going, apparently im an evil teasing bastard! :sarcastic:

Id like to think that the fact its now sold out means they have held quite a large batch of tickets back to cover the mucked up orders... fingers crossed.

Good news for people in or around London. At this late stage though return trains from Manchester were over £80 each and i didn't even bother looking at hotels...

Coaches back up north take so long that if you got one about 11 you'd arrive just in time to catch the first local train home.

I'm in the same boat. They use the phrase "rectify the problem for you" so hopefully they'll be honouring them. It's not like they going to refund charity money is it?

So i have a just giving email and a booking reference from the AXS page, but no AXS email as yet?

It says on the mail that you won't receive it until, I think, the 17th. It's because it's a few days away yet. I've received my Strokes tix already but not my Blur ones (even though I booked the Strokes ones first).

11.30pm National Express back to Manchester... 5.40am *shudders*

Blur aren't that good.

I did the coach to 6music festival and back. Stayed in a hostel but really wasn't that bad of a journey.

Also once I went to Bristol by coach to see Nick Cave, hung around for a few hours in an indie club post-gig and got a coach back at 3am.

Kids today...

He gave it to another mate thinking I already had one.

The wait for a response to my messages and tweets is killing me.

JUST TELL ME FFS!!!

Ah dude, I feel for you. I'm sure it'll be alright. I'm just bloody impatient so I had to go again for a tenner, but I'm still expecting my first two to be honoured.

Same boat as you Hugh Jass. Tentatively waiting for a response. They're either going to screw over more people or just fork out and give us tickets. I doubt they'd be doing this is there wasn't a healthy amount of unsolds. We should hopefully be fine!

I went to amsterdam on a 12 hour coach.

Never ever again. was fucking horrendous

I did the one back from Paris many years ago, it was proper shite.

To be fair I did get through it by constantly reminding myself I'd got both for less than a tenner :P

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
