I'm not tuned in but are they doing thirty-three bands one by one?

It sounds like there was a big list of bands and Dan P. Carter has selected some that he wants to announce. Imagine they'll be a bigger announcement tomorrow/Wednesday

I'd think not but that's Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes just announced and he's playing them now.  Another good one.

Like Devilman I'm thinking this is really shaping up well

Listening to the Rock Show on nights like this is always great :D loving the additions so far, Architects has got me really excited. Billy Talent, Neck Deep and Frank Carter would be must sees for me also. HO99O9 are a band I missed out on at Leeds back in August so I'd welcome the chance to see them again.

Oh and Beartooth! Was looking forward to them at Leeds so much but felt really let down by their performance. I haven't listened to them since but hearing Beaten In Lips just now on the radio has reminded me what an absolute belter that album is.

Was a surreal 35 mins or so at Reading.  Difficult to describe

They're all very quite good bands but nothing astounding

I imagine if anything comes of this Volbeat playing Sunday thing it would be tonight it's announced. We know Shinedown are Sunday also so that's another I'd catch. The only one I'd go out my way for is Billy Talent,

Has this been put on the download website yet? It'll be there in 20 minutes if not.

Nightwish, Disturbed, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin and Billy talent probably enough to grab a day ticket. Maiden I guess will be alright for a sing along to some classics again. Nothing I wish Sunday got from the others really.

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.

    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
