Here's all days. Massive improvement on the Sunday now but still concerns for that day.

Weds: Pressure stable, no rain, max temp a degree higher at 22.

Thurs: Pressure a little higher than the previous run (high ridged further up), no rain, max temp remains 22

Fri: Bit more rain on the scene for the afternoon but still a minimal amount and not enough to cause any problems, and clear by tea time.  Temperatures now two degrees higher to a humid 23, but cooling off in the evening.

Sat: Still completely dry, pressure definitely higher than on the previous run and rising. Temp has cooled again though from earlier to a high of 19.

Sun: Rain has definitely pushed back, as it was hitting the west coast at midnight earlier. That now doesn't happen until around 6am. Rain missing the site completely, and while it remains menacing it skirts far further north than before - but still can't be complacent about that situation. Noticably warmer too than earlier, now up to max of 23 from 20.

Is anyone able to post a summery forecast of this time last year? Would love to know where we were at this stage last year and how it actually turned out.

At this stage last year the forecasts were much worse than they currently are - and they were about to get a whole lot worse. Lets hope a late change doesn't happen again.

Thursday 26th June 2014

All runs suggest lower pressure for the Thursday, however GFS keeps reasonable pressure over the UK, so again only showers at worst.  :sarcastic:

Difficult to not feel optimistic, but let's not forget the horror of the Sunday before forecasting last year when it all turned to shit in a matter of hours.

I thought I saw your holiness a few pages back!

Wise words indeed. It wasn't too dissimilar a set up then suddenly the low started being progged to attack us like a rabid dog

But the hopes are building, Monday evening's runs I'll get the bubbly ready.

Still. Omfg.

    • Muse new album out soon , European tour announcement for Nov and Dec, no Spanish date and north American tour starts in July and in North America for all of July and August. So primavera and Glastonbury
    • Well he is on a rape charge, don't see that one as controversial.    Although Hakimi is in Morocco squad.
    • Electric Callboy just said they'll be touring here next year. I'm not sure there's a poster for it though. I'll look when I'm near some next.      He said we'll see you at Download at a gig before any of the band. Presumably he was trolling. They're in Austria at the moment and Germany tomorrow with a week's break and more shows in Germany. Whilst not impossible to come back here and then go over there again, it seems unlikely.
    • Thomas Partey, knocked back by Canadian immigration now.
    • I'm sure someone can update you on the clashfinder, and it will be pretty accurate by the time the festival comes around. It's a large flat-ish arena with main stage in the open air, no best side I'd say. Leadmill (3rd stage medium tent) is at the back of the main arena, T'Other (2nd stage big tent) 5 min walk round the corner. At full capacity walking around can take a bit more time though. I noticed that The Enemy are scheduled to not fully overlap with Wolf Alice, so you could catch part of their set too.   You can walk around anywhere with a beer, with most bars the usual mass market stuff, but one nice craft ale tent, back of the arena near the Leadmill stage. A main meal will set you back £10-15, but cheaper snacks also available. Expect a pint to be £7-8. Possibly a bit more this year as prices everywhere are increasing.   It's fairly easy to get to from the town centre using the tram, although can be busy at peak times / very busy at curfew. If you like a walk, it's approx 40 mins to Kelham Island (lots of indy venues) and probably an hour to the city, or catch an Uber. There will be loads of 'fringe' music events on around the city right through the weekend. Most are free. Have a wonderful trip, enjoy the festival, and your stay in our city!
