5 minutes? I felt like I was writing your dissertation for you. I spent 5 minutes contemplating the thought of Glastonbury moving location.

I enjoyed that survey. Asked some relatively searching and thought provoking questions. Far better than most of the tick box stuff we get asked to complete.

Good luck.

It would be really interesting to hear or have a link to your conclusions, when you reach them.

Took a lot longer than I expected but it definitely made me think! I did struggle with one or two questions though as they seemed a bit vague and I'd suggest numbering each question just incase anyone wants to query any of them. Good luck, I'd also be interested in reading what you come up with.

Do you think that you expect more, or want to get more out of festivals now than you did before? Why?

I said no, but I feel these things should be listed:

1) The stone Circle was the place to be after the stages closed! - but now there much more choice which is a good thing! But to me before the park and sin city... there was so much energy in one field!

2) I miss the waves of cheers going across the site!

3) I miss the bongos at the fires the beat that went on till dawn!

4) They were good to watch! Laterns! esp seeing 50+ at a time. But only through education I found out what the damage these things did do to live stock and peoples property! so glad they are banned for that reason!

Do you think the introduction of luxury camping sites at festivals is making Glastonbury more of an upmarket festival? please explain your answer *

1) Yes! Personally it's the right for everyone to be At Glastonbury other wise it would be all one sided!? What I'm trying to say the prices are jumping in big leaps! and it's getting harder for people who are less well off to buy tickets!

Would you recommend Glastonbury festival to someone who hasn't been before and why?

Yes, From my point of view it's the best festival going. It's good for the young, old, family's with kids it has something for everybody! There is no other festival that can offer this much! for any individual or group of friends!

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
