£59, isn't it?

It might be, £69 after fees rather than £75 after fees something like that, all adds to the same thing though.

 Your idea about the drop in day ticket prices because they're not spending as much on the lineup/headliners is definitely one of the more bizarre things I've read on this forum.

And it's deluded mind that refuses to see it! It's more a case of there isn't anything decent enough/big enough out there to put there instead.

Ever tried selling something worth about £70 to someone for £100 many times? Nah didn't think so, R&L feel the same.

Kanye subbed by Disclosure

make it happen boiz

Your ridiculous questionable booking is too far up!

How do you know the profit margin on each of those tickets before and after the price rise? Or do you actually think that it used to cost them £100 of a day ticket to book acts and they were doing it as a non-profit scheme, but now they're paying less they've dropped the price accordingly.

Besides, the number of day tickets is a few thousand per day and is absolutely dwarfed by the number of weekend tickets (of which the price is still rising) so is a pretty insignificant number. The day ticketers are clearly more profitable for buying stuff within the arena so making sure they get rid of all those for a decrease in price is going to elevate the money spent in the arena to a much higher level.

I think you must be pretty deluded to think that the festival consists of Melvin Benn ringing up the lead singers of all the bands and asking them to play with a budget of the value all the fucking day tickets combined.

If tragic/magic means predicting every variable of every possible headliner several times and changing your mind at least twice weekly and then claiming that you did actually predict the correct headliners despite not being able to find the actual post where this happened because of the sheer volume of posts...............then I agree. Yes.

If you can find the last time I did this, if several times ever then I'll agree, but as you won't stop sprouting shit constantly!

i wouldn't even like to start thinking about the financial side of R+L however maajor festivals are designed to just break even on paper. That comes directly from a lecture from Rob Da Bank.

Reckon Kasabian will be doing festivals again next year? R+L hasn't had them on this album campaign

nah, seems like they finished touring in August, and it'd be a pretty piss poor booking to get them that late on in the tour. obvious contender for 2017 when they'll inevitably have a new album out though

I think V would go for them to but I can see R&L getting them again, they waited a while to be offered that slot finally so I can see it again. If Biffy aren't there this year then those two are very good shouts.
